Common questions

FAQ

Do I need to be a Kooindah Waters member to book a lesson?
No — lessons are open to everyone. You do not need to be a member of the club. All bookings are made through Skillest regardless of whether you are a member or a visitor.
What is the difference between a standard lesson and a playing lesson?
A standard lesson takes place at the practice facility. A playing lesson takes place on the actual golf course, playing 9 holes together. Playing lessons focus on course management, decision-making and performing under real conditions — areas a practice facility cannot replicate. Most golfers who try a playing lesson say it was the most useful lesson they have had.
What age can juniors start coaching?
Junior sessions are suitable from age 7. Younger children can be accommodated in a parent-and-child format — get in touch to discuss what is suitable for your child.
Do I need my own clubs?
For beginner and junior sessions, loaner clubs can be arranged — just let us know when booking. For all other lessons, having your own clubs is recommended so coaching is calibrated to the equipment you actually play with.
How do I book and pay?
All bookings are made through Skillest at skillest.com/@scottypro. Skillest handles scheduling, payment and lesson delivery in one place. For group clinics and junior programmes, contact Scott directly via Skillest to arrange group bookings.
Do you offer corporate golf days and group coaching events?
Yes — corporate coaching clinics, team golf days and group skill sessions are available at Kooindah. The resort's conference and dining facilities make it an ideal full-day corporate experience. Get in touch via Skillest to discuss formats and pricing.
