Privacy Policy

This policy covers yourgolf.com.au, operated by Scott Spence (Scott Spence Golf / YourGolf), a PGA Professional providing golf coaching on the Central Coast of NSW. It explains what information we collect through this site, why, and who it's shared with.

Information we collect

We only collect what's needed to run the coaching business and respond to you. Depending on how you use the site, this can include:

• Enquiries: if you email us directly, we receive whatever you include — typically your name, email address and the content of your message.
• Gift vouchers: when you buy a voucher, we collect your name and email, and — if you're sending it as a gift — the recipient's name and email and any personal message you add. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe (see below); we never see or store your card details.
• Golf club valuation tool: this tool asks for your email before showing pricing tips and occasional coaching offers. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Bookings: actual lesson bookings happen on CoachNow, a separate platform. Once you click through to book, CoachNow's own privacy policy applies to the information you give them there.

How we use it

• To respond to enquiries and deliver services you've booked or purchased
• To email a purchased gift voucher to the purchaser and/or recipient
• To send pricing tips or coaching offers, only if you've opted in via the valuation tool — you can unsubscribe any time
• To keep the site running securely and understand basic traffic patterns

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for anything beyond running this coaching business.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted services to run the site and process payments. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:

• Stripe — processes voucher payments. Stripe is PCI-compliant; we never handle your card details directly.
• Resend — sends transactional emails (e.g. delivering a purchased voucher).
• Netlify — hosts this website and its booking/checkout functions.
• CoachNow — the platform used for actual lesson booking, scheduling and client communication once you go beyond this site.
• Google Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google's servers, which involves your browser making a request to Google as part of loading the page.

If you arrive here from a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta also processes data about that interaction under its own policies — that happens on Meta's platforms, separately from what this site collects.

Cookies

This site doesn't run advertising trackers or analytics cookies of its own. Loading fonts and processing payments may involve standard technical requests to the third parties listed above, which is normal for any modern website.

Data retention

We keep enquiry and voucher records only as long as needed to deliver the service, respond to you, and meet standard business and tax record-keeping requirements — after that, we delete what we no longer need.

Your rights

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us using the details below. If you've opted in to pricing tips or offers, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails or by asking us directly.

Junior golfers

Our junior coaching programmes are for golfers aged 7 and up. Enquiries or bookings for a junior are made by a parent or guardian, and any information collected is treated the same as any other enquiry under this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as the site or services change. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
